김재경_시간의 더께

우리의 주변을 둘러보면 '시간의 흐름'이라는 과정을 통하여만 얻어지는 것들이 있습니다.
와인이나 된장 등의 일상에서 흔히 접할 수 있는
발효식품들이 그러하며 인간의 의식에서 숙성되는 예술작품은 더더욱 그러합니다.
이러한 관점에서 볼 때, 김재경 작가의 작품은 켜켜이 쌓인 시간의 더께를 들추어내 사람과
사람의 관계, 사회와의 관계에 대해 이야기하고 있으며, 낡고 사소하지만
‘시간의 흐름’속에서 가치가 더해진... 것들을 통해 인간의 본질을 환기시키고 있습니다.

이번 전시는 인문학적 감각과 절제된 심미성이 돋보이는 작가의 초기작으로부터
근작에 이르는 작품들을 집대성하여 이른바 “리얼리즘과 추상의 융합”으로
빚어진 근작들이 어떻게 이들을 극대화시켜 새롭고 강렬한
미장센을 탄생시키게 되는지를 한눈에 볼 수 있는 전시로 구성하였습니다.
하염없이 높은 곳을 향한 구도의 눈빛으로, 관조의 시각으로
대상의 본질만을 추출한 황량한 골목풍경 속에서 인간을 향한 작가의
무언의 메시지에 귀 기울여 보시기 바랍니다.

If you look around, there are many things that only can gain from
the process of 'Passage of time'. This is apply to not only fermented foods
such as wine and soy bean paste but also art pieces which are matured with
human consciousness. In this regard, Jae Kyeong Kim's photos talk about
people's relationship with human and society by revealing the layers
that are built up through the time. Furthermore, this arouses
human's nature through the trivial things which are valued by time passes.
This exhibition shows Kim's all kinds of works from beginning to current
that mark humanistic sensibility and moderated aesthetic noticeably.
From this exhibition, you can read how his latest works define
mise-en-scène with his concept, "fusion of realism and abstract".

scenery of desolated alley that is abstracted with contemplative attitude.
